Jon Meade Huntsman, Jr., a RINO who was born into an extremely wealthy family in Utah, may seek the Republican nomination for president in 2012.[1] The libertarian Cato Institute has praised his tax policies, but criticized his spending.[2] He supports civil unions for homosexuals[3] but claims to be pro-life.[4] He has stated his belief in both Darwinism and man-made global warming.[5] Having almost no chance of winning the nomination,[6] Huntsman may simply be an attempt to siphon support away from Mitt Romney.

Liberal Barack Obama appointed Huntsman as his ambassador to China. He was previously ambassador to Singapore for George H.W. Bush. He served as the governor of Utah from 2005-2009.
