| + | :Hi JMairs, I was sure I answered your message and appologised for delay but apparently I forgot to save the answer to you when I started to write the essay to explain you why I'm sure that the universe is not expanding and so no cosmological constant is needed. I wrote the [[Essay:Huble redshift in Einstein's universe]] (yes, with an error in "Hubble"). The good news is though that I finshed this essay and before the error is corrected you may access it with this error and read it. Write me your impressions. Einstein's cosmological constant is NOT kept by "relativists" to allow the Big Bang model. It is NOT REQUIRED for the classic Big Bang model. The modified cosmological constant which some people hypothesise to be dark energy is part of the INFLATIONARY model, not the classic Big Bang one.
