Elizabeth Warren is the Democrat candidate for the U.S. Senate held by Republican Scott Brown in Massachusetts. Warren was appointed by President Obama as special adviser to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner,[1] where she ran "the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau." [2]
