He beat the conservatives, because he's awesome and went to Harvard. Although it has been speculated that if conservatives based their votes on intelligence then we would have 1st graders replacing the average republican politician.
Presidential career
Some badass stuff. Ending wars, giving people jobs and healthcare, improving relations with those that might otherwise want to kill us, winning the Nobel Peace Prize, etc. Killed Osama Bin Laden, thus most of his opposers are well-known terrorists that hate America (thus if you hate Obama, you are happy about 9/11). The one war his administration actually got us into was ended within a couple of months with no U.S. troops dying, and one communist dictator down. It took Bush thousands of lives, trillions of dollars, and years to do much less.
Due to his achievements and race, his main political enemies are racists and terrorists that hate America. If you oppose him, then you are likely one.
