The article seems bizarre to me. Intolerance is a hallmark of the conservative personality. (I hope that does not mean that my comments are censored/deleted.) First, perhaps we should all look into the history of anti-Semitism. History shows it is primarily a Christian phenomenon. Anti-Semitism is a clear example and demonstration of intolerance, intolerance for the external group identified as a threat or a past threat.
We all tend to show signs of intolerance, just as we all show signs of of bias. But the conservative demonstrates it much more clearly than any other group. Consider for a moment, please, the conservative Hasidic Israeli Jews. Complaining, demonstrating, and spitting on Israelis whose dress is not conservative enough for their tolerance is what Isaeli news has reported recently. Their example demonstrates that intolerance is not limited to external groups or individuals.
Consider Middle East Moslems. Many I've met seem to strongly disapprove of homosexuality and such behavior, even to the extent of being ready to kill a homosexual. Middle East Moslems have probably the same percentage of consevative-personality individuals as we do here, but since their entire culture seems to demonstrate conservatism, I believe that the vast majority of ME Moslems are conservative in orientation, attitude, and behavior.
