Allah ''is'' the same as the Judeo-Christian God. The word 'Allah' means "He who is above all else" in Arabic. However, the difference between Muslims and Jews and Christians is that they follow the Qu'ran as the true word of God. There is a difference in the central text of the religions, not God himself.
