The informal title of "Science Czar" has been used to refer to the president's top adviser on science and technology issues. President Barack Obama's science czar is John Holdren. Officially, Holdren holds the titles Director, Office of Science and Technology Policy and Co-Chair, President's Council of Advisers on Science and Technology.[1]
President George W. Bush's "science czar" was John Marburger.[2]
