Alexander Ovechkin is a Russian ice-hockey player. He currently plays left wing for the Washington Capitals in the National Hockey League. He remains one of the most prolific points-scorer in the league. Aside from his scoring ability, Ovechkin is also known for his hard-hitting checks and exuberant post-goal celebrations.
Early career
