Maria Shriver (born 1955) is a journalist and author. She is the wife of actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Her father, Sargent Shriver, was the US ambassador to France, and a founder of the Peace Corps. Maria's mother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, was the sister of US President John F. Kennedy, US Attorney General Robert Kennedy, and Senator Ted Kennedy.
