Delft is a small town in the province South Holland, situated between the bigger cities Rotterdam and The Hague. It is noted for the blue-and-white Delft pottery (Delfts Blue), and as the birthplace of the great painter Jan Vermeer. The city has a population of 101.053 (2016).[1]
