*Dr. Schlesinger merely voiced honest, but not hateful, opinions about the nature of homosexuality. GLAAD, a radical gay activist group, distorted Schlesinger's actual statements or simply lied about what she really said and meant. They pressured her sponsors to abandon support for her TV show. Schlesinger lost her show as sponsors bailed out. [http://www.amazon.com/New-Thought-Police-Inside-Assault/dp/0761534040]
