Leslyn Lewisis a Canadian lawyer, and politician. She was born in Jamaica. She moved to Canada when she was 5 years old. Lewis was appointed by Premier Doug Ford in 2018 to the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Politics
In 2020, Lewis placed her bid to run for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada, to replace resigning leader Andrew Scheer. Lewis is considered to be a social-conservative, along with another candidate Derek Sloan.
2020 Conservative Leadership Race
Leslyn is one of four candidates in the leadership race. Two candidates (Richard DeCarie, and Jim Karahalios) that were approved applicants were booted from running for false smears against there social conservative values. On polls, Lewis shows to be one of the top candidates, placing second on most polls to red tory Erin O'Toole.
