/* Longstanding changes to law */ update
I like to harp negatives on DeWine. One good story with a twist of nonsense. DeWine signs into law that fireworks can legally be set off without consequences. For decades Ohioans could buy fireworks but could not set them off. July 1st saw the decades old requirement to have both a rear and front license plates changed to just a rear plate. Then it gets a bit weird and head scratching. You are now allowed to purchase alcohol as take home from the bars, driving with alcohol. Also bars are now allowed to stay open to 4 am from 2 am. Genius! --Jpatt 19:04, 2 July 2020 (EDT)

::More irrationality....4am bars close time lasted but a month and then he changed it to 10pm, further harming the economy. --Jpatt 19:56, 25 August 2020 (EDT)
