Generation Z (or GenZ for short) is the demographic generation born after the Millennials and before Generation Alpha.

According to Christianity Today, the oldest members of this generation were born in 1995.[1] Demographers typically use starting birth years that range from the mid-1990s to early 2000s.

A major aspect of this generation is its widespread usage of the Internet from a young age. In addition, the 9/11 disaster and the Great Recession has given this generation a lack of confidence in the current political system and public institutions.

GenZ is said to be be the most conservative American generation since WWII,[2] although not all members of that generation are so; in fact, the more liberal-minded members of GenZ behave more like Millennials themselves and share many Millennial traits, particularly their entitled mentality, their narcissism, their "know-it-all" attitudes (despite their age, lack of life/real world experience and general cluelessness and naïvety), their immaturity and childishness, their support for Communist Democrat Bernie Sanders (despite him being far older than they are) and their haughty disdain and disrespect for previous generations who have achieved far more in their lives than most Millennials and many GenZers have to date.[3]
