Bellows ordered the removal of President Trump from the ballot for the 2024 presidential election.[2] Bellows, who made the legal ruling, is a non-lawyer political hack with no legal background.[3] Bellows was formerly director of the anti-Christian organization ACLU. Bellows was the Democratic nominee for the United States Senate in Maine in the 2014 election, and was defeated by incumbent Republican Susan Collins.
