Ho Chi Minh was North Vietnam’s communist dictator. He was in office from 1945- 1955. He was popular in both North and South Vietnam, and gave away land to people to boost his popularity.
Ho Chi Minh was a Vietnamese revolutionary who helped to establish the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, a one-party Communist state. He was Prime Minister of the DRV from 1945 to 1955. He assumed the office of President in 1955 and remained there until his death on September 2, 1969.
