The [[Russian Federation]] is the legal successor state to the late [[Union of Soviet Socialist Republics]], including its foreign debts (which it has paid off) its assets, its strategic [[nuclear weapon]]s and its territory When in 2019 the [[US]]-installed [[Kiev regime]] did not renew the 1999 Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation, and Partnership which established a line of demarcation between Russian and Ukrainian territory, the borders became null and void and the territory reverted to Russia.
