The most notable usage comes from [[Oleh Tyahnybok]], leader of the [[Svoboda]] (Freedom) party (a Ukrainian nationalist group with [[historical]] [[neo-Nazi]] ties), who in a 2004 speech agitating for the [[Orange Revolution]] called for Ukrainians to fight against a "Muscovite-Jewish mafia" who were allegedly controlling the country from [[Moscow]] under [[Vladimir Putin]]. He later claimed this referred only to specific "[[Jewish]] [[oligarch]]s" and historical "[[Jewish]]-[[Bolshevik]]s," but the phrase was widely criticized as [[antisemitic]].
