re: Conservapedia's timeout and slowness problems
I saw your main page talk post.
Conservapedia uses old versions of MediaWiki, PHP and MySQL. As a result, it is like a wiki that didn't eat its Wheaties (The cereal that is the breakfast of champions). It is slow and under traffic loads associated with bot or traffic spikes, it buckles and/or hiccups. And bot traffic is increasing to do AI and probably other factors. Andy could fix this if we updated our versions of this software cluster. It would also help if we used Cloudflare. I haven't had much luck getting Andy to do the software updates. But I found workarounds to get access to the site by making backups to my articles at the Internet archive website and via archive.ph
Feel free to contact Andy and suggest updating the website's software. [[User:Conservative|Conservative]] ([[User talk:Conservative|talk]]) 21:32, March 13, 2026 (EDT)
