Scranton is home to the National Park Service's [[Steamtown National Historic Site]] at the site of the old Lackawanna [[railway]] yards.  The Electric City Trolley Museum is next to Steamtown, devoted to the history of the [[trolley]].  The Pennsylvania Anthracite Heritage Museum is located in McDade Park in Scranton.  Adjacent to the museum is an underground coal mine tour in the old Lackawanna No. 190 Slope Mine.
