The first Gameboy was released in 1989, and it quickly became very popular. It had a black and white screen, and it was about 4'x 7'. Around 1994 the GameBoy Pocket was realesed: roughly 3' x 5'. In 1996, a slighty larger GameBoy Color came, allowing color in a hand-held game system for the first time.
