War is an act of aggression of one government towards the other in order to better the agressor's position in the world. Wars are commonly fought over religion, territory, economic domination, etc. There are times when wars are fought simply to get rid of the old weapons, because millitary industrial complex is using up most of the economic resources, and must be used by the government.
