Free rider is a person who obtains a good without labor or sacrifice. This is why Communism fails in many places and is often voted out once free elections are held such as in Eastern Europe, Russia, and Nicaragua to name a few. Due to the sharing of goods, no matter how hard or little you work, you still get the same as everybody else. Therefore, there is no motive to work.
