Ray Bradbury is a well known science fiction writer. He was born in Waukegan, Illinois, in 1920, and started his writing career with Futura Fantasia, a small, mimographed quarterly in Los Angeles.
His most famous books are The Martian Chronicles and Fahrenheit 451.
