-Some of those who support nudism quote [[Genesis]] 2:25, "And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed."
-The Bible clearly says that Adam was ashamed of his nakedness.  Genesis 3:9-10 says, "And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself." However, if God had disapproved of nakedness he would not have let Adam and Eve live in the Garden without clothes. It was only after eating of the Forbidden Fruit at the suggestion of the Serpent that they were ashamed of their nakedness. This would suggest that nakedness was part of God's design, and hiding that nakedness was the design of the Devil.
