Shotts is a town in Scotland, situated between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The Shotts and Dykehead Pipe Band has won the World Pipe Band championship on a number of occasions.[1] The town is most famous for its renowned luxury hotel HMP Shotts where visitors are invited to stay at the pleasure of the reigning British monarch. Many guests enjoy the experience so much the stay for long periods.
