This article is about the biblical book. For the mathematical concept, see Number.
The Book of Numbers is the fourth book of the Bible. Its Hebrew title, B'Midbar (בַּמִּדְבָּר,) of means "in the wilderness"[1]
The book was written by Moses along with the other books of the Pentateuch (the first five books of the Old Testament). It relates the story of Israel's journey from Mount Sinai to the plains of Moab on the border of Canaan.
