Demonizing terms are terms used by liberals in an attempt to demonize conservatives and try to keep people from benefiting from conservative values. These terms also have legitimate uses, but liberals will overuse them in certain circumstances in order to scare some people away from a free exchange of ideas and insights.
Examples of terms used in a demonizing way by liberals are:
- creationism and creationist
- family values
- housewife
- pro-war
- anti-choice
- fundamentalism and fundamentalists, or even just "fundie", which is always used only in a derogatory sense
- true believer
- conspiracy theorist
