In some budget systems, a budget line is a one-line coded entry in the supporting schedule of the budget. Revenue lines are often contained in separate individual organization revenue budgets. Lines may refer to single or multiple positions, OTPS (a.k.a., NPE), and lump sums. Every line is assigned a numeric budget code.
