Larry Charles is an Emmy Award-winning writer, director, and producer. He made his name as a staff writer for the sitcom Seinfeld and went on to direct the "adult" comedy show Curb Your Enthusiasm. He also attracted controversy by directing the movie Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, a blatantly anti-American film which mocks and ridicules decent, ordinary American citizens.
Charles also directed the recently-released movie Religulous featuring Bill Maher which mocks Christianity and religion in the United States.
