The Sabre-toothed cat is an extinct large feline predator. According to Young Earth Creationists these beasts went extinct sometime after the Great Flood. Evolutionists say that they lived during the Pliocene and Pleistocene epochs (2.5 million years ago to 12,000 years ago). Both agree that they went extinct around the same time as the Woolly mammoth. They were a dangerous predator with 8-inch fangs, easily capable of killing even large mammals.
