Olive oil is a commonly used cooking oil made from the fruit of the olive tree. It is considered healthy in small amounts and is a staple of Mediterranean cooking. If refrigirated,or otherwise allowed to reach a low temperature, olive oil will begin to congeal into lumps. This is easily reversed howeverm by moving the olive oil to a room-temperature location.
