Regarding Galifianakis playing "the race card", I don't entirely know what that means. He did joke about how long his name was, but if anyone played the race card, it was Helms, with his slogan "Jesse Helms: He's One of Us", which carried the implication that Galifianakis wasn't.

I shortened this to "race card" where a candidate says "oh you're just saying that because I'm XXXX-American" (nearly always with a hyphen). I think it was courageous to switch...there are people here who will still never forgive the Republican party for waging war against the south. [[User:Richard|Richard]] 15:01, 27 March 2007 (EDT)
