List here the issues in translation that occur during the translation of the Bible, for easy reference:
- Capitalize pronouns when referencing God or Jesus? Yes, both for respect and for clarification when adjacent pronouns reference others
- How to translate Pharisees and scribes? As Elites or intellectuals?
- How to translate "girl" in Mark 6:22? As "temptress"?
- How to translate "Holy Spirit"? As "Divine Guide" or "Divine Force"?
- "Son of man" or "Son of Man"?
- How to translate "disciples"? Many alternatives have been suggested.
- How to translate the "first shall be last, and the last shall be first"? This concept appears in several places.
