Frederic March, born Ernest Frederick McIntyre Bickel, (30 August 1897 - 14 April 1975) was an American actor who twice won the Academy Award for best actor - 1932's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and The Best Years of Our Lives in 1946. He was also nominated, but did not win on three other occasions.
