Yes, this page is presenting liberal views from their side. “Why on conservapedia?” You might ask. Well, I am writing this so that there is a other side to balance things out in the same place. If you are a conservative and don’t like the ideas proselytized on this page or think that they are simply wrong, please don’t try to “correct it” but instead sit back and let people laugh at the stupidity of liberals. I also hope that these opinions are taken as just that, and that I don’t claim that my ideas are 100% infallible or that I am an example of every liberal. All I say is that these are the conclusions I have arrived at.

There are a few words and ideas that I feel are commonly misunderstood.

Socialism: The Socialist theory is that the people, not just the rich or the government, should control all means of production and should always live in a democratic country. The role of the government is to help organize these communal ventures. It is not, contrary to popular belief, the elimination of class, but a distribution of money based on merit. This is achieved by a totally democratic system: the workers elect their leaders from the people they work with and can vote them more money or take it away. This system means that there is no room for large corporations, so large scale organization will be provided by the government. (for the purpose of international shipping and export etc.)

Communism: This is probably what you are thinking of when you think of socialism. This is the system of the government controlling the economy and the elimination of class. The Communist Party USA does not endorse any totalitarianism on any level, instead supporting complete Socialist- like democracy, but the course of events has shown that the amount of power pushed into the government in communism is way too much to handle<sup>2</sup>
