He has openly flouted his [[antitheism|anti-Christianity]] in various interviews while his works mock religion and various other idealisms when wrongly used as tools of manipulation. In one infamous interview during the height of his band's popularity in the late 90's, he declared that he "would like to be remembered as the man who brought an end to Christianity."
