:Yes, Lucifer was the most beautiful Angel in God's Kingdom. He lead the Angels before the creation of Man. But some time after or during. Lucifer got jealous. He grew to resent the Humans for taking up all of Gods time. For choising the imperfect and lesser beings over the perfect and first created servants of God. He managed to convince one third of God's angels to rise up with him commit the ultimite sin. Willing and Knowingly attempt to bring down God. They never stood a chance when Archangel Michael took command and personally lead the charge to put down the rebellion and cast him and his ilk to Earth to be forever cursed as Fallen or Demons and have their Angelic names taken away from them. You should never refer to Satan as Lucifer. He doesn't deserve that name anymore. Michael took up command of the Angels after Lucifer fell.
Earlier, some question if Satan can be said to be imprisoned if he can walk on Earth. But think about this. Lucifer, the Proud and self-centered Angel who thought little of the imperfect and fallible little Humans and their world, forced to walk among them or sit in Hell. Seriously? Where are you getting this information from? I don't remember reading in the Bible that light keeps Satan away. If that was true, does standing in sunlight help keep you from sinning as Satan can't get at you?
