This is a bit of a work in progress so bear with me.
I am planning on adding a bit about the Seat of The Eastern Orthodox Church as well as a bit of information on Istanbul during the Ottoman Era, maybe a bit about the Fourth Crusade and Latin Kingdom. Also of course some info on Modern Istanbul, the Bospherous Straight and Hagia Sofia I am open to any suggestions on improving this page and if anyone knows how to do a fancy city box or something please do. --Rlpond 21:45, 9 June 2011 (EDT)

- Upon reflection, perhaps I should have put the notice on the Constantinople article so that we retain the article in the current city name. IN any case are there any dissenters? --JarradD 20:23, 1 August 2011 (EDT)
- Considering the size, I'd have no problem with it as long as Constantinople gets made into a history section for this --SeanS 20:56, 1 August 2011 (EDT)
