Ferrari is a sports car manufacturer from Italy. Founded in 1947 by Enzo Ferrari, they have made some of the most famous track cars in the world in Formula1 and numerous other motor racing classes. They have also produced some of the best engineered and most exclusive road vehicles in the world.
Ferrari only builds 4,500 cars a year with production split between the V8-engined cars (F430 and F430 Spider) and the V12-engined cars, the 599 GTB Fiorano 2-seater berlinetta and the flagship 2+2 612 Scaglietti.[1]
Since 1950 Ferrari has partipated in every season of the F1 World Championship. in 2004 Ferrarri had won 14 Drivers' and 14 Constructors' titles. Ferrari also has an exceptional record of success in endurance racing events such as the 24 Hours of Lemans, where their 250 GTOs set numerous records.
