Senomyx is a California biotech company that develops flavor ingredients for the food and beverage industries using proprietary technologies. Those proprietary technologies include HEK 293 – human embryonic kidney cells taken from an electively aborted baby to produce receptors in the research and development of artificial flavor enhancers.
