-The '''Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church''' is a conservative [[Reformed Churches|Reformed Denomination]] formed from the merger of the Associate (Seceder) and most of the Reformed Presbyterian (Covenanter) churches in Philadelphia in 1782. It is the oldest of the [[Presbyterian]] Churches in the United States. The ARPC professes adherence to the [[Westminster Standards]], although it is generally slightly more liberal than the [[Orthodox Presbyterian Church]] and shows very strong similarities with the [[Presbyterian Church in America]]. The ARPC enjoys good relations with both these denominations, however.
