George Alan O'Dowd is a British pop singer and DJ better known by his stage name Boy George. The former heroin addict was convicted of cocaine possession in Manhattan in 2006. He was convicted for handcuffing a male escort to a bed against his will and then beating him with a chain in 2008.[1] He was sentenced to fifteen months' imprisonment and served four months.
