Nemesis (Star)

Nemesis is a theoretical dwarf star said to orbit the sun outside of the Oort Cloud. Some scientists believe that if Nemesis exists, it's passing by the Oort Cloud might send asteroids towards Earth. This hypothesis is sometimes used to back up the belief that the dinosaurs were killed by a large asteroid or meteor impact.
