Trilemma of Jesus the Christ

Is Jesus good and wise?
- In the New Testament, Jesus claimed to be the Divine Son of God who voluntarily gave His life as atonement for all sins.
- A good person could make the claim but be mistaken or deluded, if so, this person is not wise because a truly wise person knows he cannot be divine.
- A wise person could make the claim but then he cannot be good because a good person would not lie and say he is divine when he knows that he is not.
Therefore, Jesus cannot be both good and wise unless He is exactly who He says He is: the Divine Son of God.
Conclusion: A "trilemma" only exists if the first fact is rejected.
