Human Genome Project

The Human Genome Project, which began in 1990, is an international research project to map each human gene and to completely sequence human DNA. The project finished in 2003 with a full map of the human genome. The project was led by Francis Collins, a devout Christian and author of The Language of God: A Scientist Presents Evidence for Belief.
