Percy Aldridge Grainger (born in Melbourne, 1882 - died in White Plains, New York, 1961) was an Australian-born American composer and pianist of English descent. He is most famous for his piano piece Country Gardens.
Grainger was infamous for being a sadomasochist, and made his own clothes, which had a vagrant look to them.
