Clown

Clown is a comic performer. Clowns come from a broad tradition of historical performances.
Clowns usually work in a circus, theatrical production, movies or domestic parties as entertainers. Sometimes they are found quite frightening.
Synonyms: buffoon, lout, churl, bumpkin.
