Infinity

Infinity as defined in mathematics refers to a number which has no greater number. The number ten has a higher number, because:
<math> 11 > 10 </math>
But "infinity" by definition is higher than any particular number you specify. Is a million the highest number? No, because
<math> 1,000,000 + 1 = 1,000,001 </math>
Infinity therefore is not an actual number but something which is approached as a limit. For instance:
