Union of Concerned Scientists

The Union of Concerned Scientists is a non-profit, liberal political action group involved in issues of nuclear war, envrionmentalism, and other issues.[1] They were one of the most active critics of Ronald Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative. Many of their efforts have later turned out to be rather deceptive. [2]
